Bath only is an economical option, while the full package (bath, grooming, nail, ear cleaning) is more comprehensive and higher priced. Some groomers may charge an additional fee for very furry, matted fur or stressed/aggressive cats. You can match with suitable groomers by selecting your budget range in the form.

Yes, the cat groomers we work with at VetPI are patient and experienced professionals who have received special training for cats. They know very well the sensitive structure and stress levels of cats. Most cats can tolerate grooming procedures without sedation. However, for very aggressive or extremely stressed cats, mild sedation may be used under veterinary supervision in some cases. In this case, you are consulted beforehand and your consent is obtained. It is very important to mention this in the notes section of the appointment form if your cat has had grooming experience before or has stress problems.

Our professional cat grooming service includes the following procedures: Cat bath (with special, sensitive pH balanced shampoo for cats), coat grooming or shortening (options such as lion cut, summer cut), coat brushing and detangling, nail trimming and filing, ear cleaning, eye area cleaning and stain removal, paw pad hair cleaning, coat drying (with quiet dryers so they don't get scared), light perfume if desired. Some of our groomers also do teeth cleaning. All these services are included if you choose the full package.

More gentle, slower and shorter procedures are performed on such cats. We recommend getting veterinary approval for cats with chronic diseases. If you specify your cat's age, health condition and medications used (if any) in the notes section of the appointment form, we will match you with groomers with appropriate experience. You can also choose the home cat grooming service if necessary.

If your cat is going to the groomer for the first time, it's normal for them to be a little anxious. We recommend mentioning "first grooming experience" in the notes section of the appointment form. In this case, we match you with more patient, slow-moving groomers who are very experienced with cats. You can choose just bath or partial service instead of the full package for the first appointment, so the cat gets used to the grooming environment. Playing and calming games before the grooming day to get your cat used to the carrier are beneficial.
